Knightbound is made by Walnut. This page says what the game keeps about you, why, and how to have it deleted. The short version: we keep what we need to save your knight and to make the game better, we don't sell it, and we don't use it for advertising.

What we keep

We don't store IP addresses. The services that deliver the game (Cloudflare and Railway) see your IP address to connect you and protect the servers, under their own privacy policies.

In your browser

The game keeps its settings, your knight's name and a sign-in token in your browser's local storage, so you come back as the same knight. We don't use cookies or third-party trackers. Google's sign-in button is loaded only when you open the sign-in dialog; if you use it, Google's privacy policy covers what happens on Google's side.

What we use it for

To save your knight and let you play it on other devices; to see where players get stuck, what breaks and how fast the game loads; and to read and answer your feedback. We don't sell or share your information, except with the services that host the game for us.

Where it is kept, and for how long

On servers in the United States. Your account and knight are kept until you ask us to delete them. Accounts that were never signed in and haven't been played for a long time may be removed. Usage events and error reports are kept for as long as they help us improve the game.

Deleting your data

Email [email protected] from the address you signed in with (or tell us your knight's name if you never signed in). We'll delete your account, your knight, your sign-ins and your feedback, and remove your account from the usage events.

Children

Knightbound is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used the game, contact us and we'll delete their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
